The small town of Blue Earth has so much to show off, and has so much more to offer than just the Giant! Great trails, and many family-friendly activities, all less than 2 hours away from Rochester.

Southeastern Minnesota is FULL of beautiful state parks and hiking trails. When my family wants to hit a local state park, we love taking a trip to Carley State Park near Plainview, MN.
This trip is so easy to do as it's a short 45-minute drive from Rochester. All of the stops are kid and adult-friendly. Parts are indoors, parts are outdoors. You can make it as long or short as you want to! Here's what Adventure Day includes:
The National Eagle Center is definitely worth a trip- at least once. The Eagles are mesmerizing and their passion is contagious.
Berry and Bloom Farm is located just outside of Rochester, MN. This special farm is Minnesota's only u-pick flower and blueberry farm!
