Bloom: An Event for New and Expecting Moms {RECAP}

It was a delight to welcome nearly 200 women to our 2nd annual Bloom: An Event for New and Expecting Moms.  The morning was an opportunity to connect, equip and encourage mothers as they prepare to welcome a baby into their family or navigate the new waters of a new baby. Here’s what our attendees had to say about the event!

The location was great, the check-in was beautiful because everyone there was happy to see whomever walked in and greeted them with a beautiful smile. The little details were awesome too, so was the snack area upstairs. There, too, they were all smiles which is great. Enjoyed meeting with all the people at their booths, the prizes were awesome and so thank you for doing this and bringing so many beautiful people together! -Lucy B

My favorite part, besides the whole event which was super awesome, was seeing all the baby wearing mamas. I loved seeing all the littles snuggled up next to mama and sleeping in slings or wraps especially in such a diverse community of women from different backgrounds. -Marissa L

Thank you to the following businesses for participating as Event Sponsors to add some special extra touches to our Bloom event.  Med City Doulas sponsored a comfortable and spacious feeding lounge, Lux Floral Boutique is put their incredible touch on our floral decor and more, Marit Williams Photography provided belly and baby portraits for our VIP attendees, The Creative Gathering is facilitated our nursery block craft that was included with our VIP tickets as well as an add-on or general admission attendees with paint provided by Soul Purpose Boutique, and Amy from A.Krause Studio is painted customized watercolor prints for our guests.

We always encourage our guests to bring a donation to our chose charity.  This year Bloom partnered with Families First of Minnesot to stock their crisis nursery with Diapers and Wipes.  We are so pleased to say that we collected over 500 diapers and wipes!  These will help equip and encourage families in great times of need! Those that brough donations receive extra tickets for our amazing giveaways.  Thank you to our giveaway sponsors, our attended were gifts with over $2000 in incredible products and services!
