We wanted to give you a run down of why we LOVE COSTCO *so much.* A membership has been worth our while over and over again. With the great membership deal our local Costco is providing for our readers you now is the perfect time to join if you’ve been on the fence even a little bit!
Why We Love Costco
Things we’ve said before but they are worth saying again: Costco is Spacious. Clean. Double carts. Super fast checkouts (despite the sometimes long lines, I’ve never waited for longer than 5 mins!), and some of the friendliest employees in town are just a few of the reasons that I love to shop at Costco. Don’t think you need 25 lbs of potatoes (or maybe you do)? You’d be surprised at how buying in bulk can save your family time and money. MOM HACK: Running short on time? Hit up Costco at lunch. You’ll feed your kids with samples AND get your errands done. There is always the ridiculously cheap pizza and hotdogs too.

**Kirkland Signature Favorites
The Kirkland Signature Costco store brand is our most favorite generic brand. The quality of these products oftentimes out performs even name brand items and we’ll reach for them before other pricier brands. From left to right here are some of our current Kirkland Signature Faves:
Grapefruit Cups:: AKA Mom Fuel in the morning. These cups are so handy and quick. Breakfast staple!
Organic Applesauce Pouches:: Absolute kid snack-time must. These pouches are everywhere: our cars, purses, diaper bags, backpacks. They are an awesome snack on the go.
Organic Animal Crackers: Another snack time fave. This humungous bucket will last you a long time. And these animal crackers are seriously tasty…not super dry and crumbly!
Mandarin Orange Fruit Cups:: Kids love mandarin oranges! These fruit cups make it easy to feed your kids when you’re running short and time while making sure they are getting their fruit in too.
Organic Peanut Butter:: Ingredients…peanuts and salt. That’s it. This is quality peanut butter, folks. And take it from us…we know our peanut butter! This is the natural kind that requires you to stir before mixing. Perfect protein snack!
Dry Roasted Almonds:: Just a huge bag of almonds for a great prices ($11.99!). Great, healthy snacking made easy. Bonus Tip: On Whole30? Thinking about Whole30? This bag of almonds is a must for when those snacking cravings hit the first few days!
Albacore Tuna:: Best Tuna out there. Quality, fresh, incredible Value (it comes in an 8-pack). We love to make tuna-salad on the go as a protein packed, heart-healthy meal. This suits our needs just fine and then some!
Almond Butter:: Same amazing quality as the peanut butter and same simple ingredient list: almonds and salt. Another great choice if you’re thinking about Whole30. The price is incredible, $7.99!
Tart Montmorency Cherries:: Perfect for snacking, kids snack cups and adding to salads and meals. The cherries are large and juicy and the bag is so big.
Kirkland House Blend Whole Bean Coffee:: Roasted by Starbucks for Costco, Fair Trade and some of the best store bough coffee out there. This huge bag is such a great value and an absolute staple in our home pantries.
Bonus: The roses are from Costco too! They come in big beautiful bunches. Buy a bouquet and split it: some for you, some for a friend
**Other Brand Favorites
While we absolutely love the Kirkland Signature products, there are also other excellent products and brands that Costco carries that are staples in our houses!
Avocado Oil:: For those that choose to cooke with Avocado Oil, the quality and value of this bottle cannot be beat!
POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice:: This juice is packed with antioxidants and is so good mixed in with smoothies (a very small amount). We mix with LaCroix for a summer patio drink or add to our kids cups diluted with water (1/4 juice, 3/4 water) for a special treat.
Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars:: CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MOM SNACK. Also, has not become a preferred kid snack (because of course they want everything mom has, right?). These bars are like a sophisticated Fig Newton and they come in three flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry and Raspberry. Two boxes of each flavor come in the big Costco sized box!
LaCroix Sparkling Water:: Our love of LaCroix sparkling water knows no bounds. This 24 pack has three flavor varieties and is $6.99. Hands down an incredible deal.
Organic Green Peas:: Ok, does anyone else have kids that like to eat frozen green peas? We do and we’re not complaining about it when our kids *ask* for vegetables. This huge bag of pease is a great choice.
Skinny Pop Popcorn:: Delicious. Low-cal. Great Snack. Comes in Aged White Cheddar. Massive Bag. Not much more we can say to convey how great this big bag of popcorn is!
Earthbound Farms Organic Spinach:: An entire pound of organic spinach for $4.49. Perfect for all those summer salads we’ve been eating as well as adding to our kid’s smoothies for extra iron!
Seven Sundays Muesli:: Another breakfast favorite and bonus! they are local. We love Seven Sundays Muesli as it has very little added sugar. Mix it with milk and pop in the microwave for a great morning treat or snack. $7.79 for this massive bag!

PS–The spices. We remembered how much we love the spice aisle at Costco and we couldn’t leave it out. This cinnamon? $2.99. Yes. That’s right. It’s huge and it’s amazing quality.
