I am the laziest when it comes to daily adulting duties like cleaning, organizing, and maintaining our home. I’ve seen tons of memes and videos of wives making fun of their husbands for leaving cabinet doors open, putting their slightly dirty clothes next to the laundry hamper, or not packing the dishwasher efficiently. My husband and I chuckle because that is so me, and definitely not him. Justin is not super particular and will point out my flaws in a comical way (he has them too, so don’t worry). When it comes to house duties we split them up and tackle them in our own ways. My number one rule is: I refuse to do the vacuuming. It is the most frustrating experience. I get hot and flustered, smack the machine into walls and doors, get caught in the cord, and so on. Basically, I’m dramatic.
I do not aim to have a spotless kitchen (unless we have visitors), I frequently forget to put the washed clothes in the dryer, and I forget my own lunch box in my backpack over the weekend. Although these are my daily battles I have spent a lot of my downtime, during the pandemic, just scrolling through TikTok. I laugh, I cry, and I learn a lot. And all of this scrolling has not been time-wasted! Instead, I have gathered my top 10 TikTok adulting hacks that you should definitely get excited about!
