Holiday Gift Guide for Mamas

With the holiday season upon us, and all the craziness that it entails. I thought it would be fun to put together a gift guide for you to make shopping for you easier. Let’s face it, moms tend to focus on everyone else’s list and shop for others and we don’t have time to put together a list for people to shop for us.

  1. That gold planter is just too cute! It is such a fun way to add life to space or a corner.
  2. Fairbault wool is not only local but super high quality. They have a limited edition sold at Target right now! I love the colors in this warm and cozy cowl scarf!
  3. Every mama needs a variety in photo taking options. I love how durable this camera is and great for letting your kids take pictures too! This one comes in lots of different colors too on Amazon.
  4. Triangles, hexagons, and octagons are a must to add to your home! I love this beauty. It is fresh, earthy, and minimalistic.
  5. Little pretty side plates and bowls are so fun to collect in your home. You can put a nice bar of soap on them for your guests, display pretty jewelry on your dresser, business cards on your desk, keys on an entryway table, or use for a piece of chocolate cake! Anthropologie always has a good clearance on them too!
  6. A fun cookbook with beautiful images are so fun to collect. I saw this pretty book at a cute cooking store in Edina and have been wanting it ever since. Pies are the way to the heart, if you ask me. 😉
  7. A large and oversized stylish tote is a great alternative to the diaper bag or canvas tote. I love this faux leather one for under $60 at Nordstroms. Every woman needs one of these beauties.
  8. Kate Spade is always on point with timeless and beautiful designs. I can’t get enough of the rose gold watches they are carrying now. I would love to have this one as a staple to my wardrobe, maybe I would even be on time more.
  9. With those crazy long Winter months we have in Minnesota, a good and hearty pair of slippers are the only way to survive…..well, and coffee. I love this pair from another Minnesota fave, Minnetonka Moccasins.
  10. Ok, so this tray is a BEAUTY! How many of you mamas, tend to sit in front of the TV with a laptop on your lap, or in bed at night watching Netflix? I love the rustic design of this. I think this is a great DIY idea too!

Here is a fun shopping guide for your stocking as well! Stockings are my favorite gifts to buy and receive.

  1. Larissa Loden jewelry was gifted to me earlier this summer from a buddy and I can’t get enough of this Minnesota designer. This necklace is so fun and a perfect way to personalize an outfit.
  2. Fancy soap is such a great way to pamper yourself or make your guests feel special in a bathroom. I love goat milk soaps in particular for extra moisture.
  3. Being a hair stylist and salon owner, I am always on the lookout for new products. I absolutely love using organic products whenever possible and love that this line is Minneapolis based. Becky, our founder on the blog here, introduced this company to me this past summer. This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used. It is a lavender alcohol mix. It is brilliant and perfect for mamas. Let’s face it, we don’t wash our hair everyday, nor should we. My studio carries the entire line too!
  4. Essential oils are a favorite of mine and I think they make the best stocking stuffer. This roller ball by doTerra is fabulous for headaches, stress and long days. It is blended with Wintergreen, Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, Cilantro, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Basil, and Rosemary essential oils.
  5. Copper and rose gold are all the rage for home decor. These copper coasters are so cute and charming.
  6. Deep Green knit goods are made with the highest quality yarn and made with love from women in China. Friends or mine run this non-profit equipping women in China with a way to make a living and mentoring them along the way. I have a cowl neck scarf and hat from them and without fail, every time I wear it, I get asked multiple times where I bought it.
  7. Every women loves a good magazine subscription to look forward to receiving every month. Darling Magazine is filled with enlightening stories that are empowering, positive and beautiful. The imagery and art are breathtaking. I think I need to get this one too!!!!
  8. Candles are a girls best friend. I love these mercury jars with the rustic wood lid by Capri Blue.
  9. Baths are the quickest and cheapest way to unwind. Aveda bath salts make it even more luxurious and relaxing.
  10. Lips are always dry during this season and this lip oil is the best bang for your buck you can find. Target sells this for under $6 and it has coconut oil and mint!  Go get ’em!

Do you have a favorite stocking stuffer? What is your most memorable gift that you have received?

Happy Shopping!

xoxo
