First Alliance Credit Union’s New Commerce Drive Branch Offers Convenience, Personalized

Everyone knows that the typical banking experience is kind of dull. It mostly consists of standing in line at the financial institution of your choice, trying to keep your kids (and yourself) entertained, until you can get your financial transactions done.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a better banking experience?

First Alliance Credit Union also thought the same thing. That’s why their new branch on Commerce Drive doesn’t just offer their members more convenience.

It’s going to transform the way their members do banking.

When you walk into the new branch, called First Alliance Commons, you’ll notice the difference immediately as you’re greeted with the scents of Moka coffee brewing and fresh baked Great Harvest bread. You’ll also see an open concept layout unlike any other credit union, with a central seating area featuring a cozy fireplace and widescreen TV, which is the perfect place to sit down and rest for a moment before you do your banking on the innovative technology in the branch.

Advisor Supported Kiosks Make Banking Efficient and Convenient

On the right side of the building, you’ll find the First Alliance Credit Union branch. Only you won’t see any tellers hidden behind giant counters. Instead, you’ll be greeted by a friendly Member Experience Advisor who will introduce you to their new state-of-the-art Advisor Supported Kiosks. The Kiosks will help you quickly and easily conduct your common transactions. If you want to withdraw money from your account, for instance, you can simply select that option from the Kiosk’s touchscreen menu and get cash in multiple denominations. These Advisor Supported Kiosks can do much more than dispense cash, though. If you want to deposit checks and cash, the Kiosks can accept up to 50 checks and 200 bills of cash in the same transaction and deposit them to whatever accounts you need. You can also access your account information, check your balances and even transfer money between your First Alliance accounts.

In fact, you can even access the loans you have with First Alliance, including your credit card accounts, through the Kiosks, allowing you to quickly make payments on your First Alliance loans and credit cards during your Kiosk session.

However, even the most advanced technology can’t do everything a human being can do. That’s why you’ll be able to get help from a human being at any time. Simply press the “assist” button, and you will be connected to a helpful Advisor via a secure video call, right on the Kiosk screen. The advisor will help you complete a transaction or answer questions about your existing accounts at First Alliance.

You’ll also be able to interact in person with Member Experience Advisors at the First Alliance Commons branch. These advisors are available to help members take steps to achieve their financial goals, such as paying for a new car, making plans to buy a house or even just setting up a new First Alliance Credit Union account for your child or teenager.

Speaking of your children, the First Alliance Commons branch also provides several iPad stations. At each one, you can open a new account, apply for a loan, or launch a game that will help keep children entertained while you’re using the Kiosks or talking with a Member Experience Advisor.Have a Cup of Coffee and a Bite to Eat

Once you’re finished with your banking, you might want to get some lunch or a nice cup of coffee. Instead of running out the door, packing your kids back into the car and then driving off to find a McDonalds or a Starbucks, though, just go to the left side of the building. There, you’ll find the newest locations of two Rochester staples—Great Harvest Bread Company and Moka Coffee.

Moka coffee is known for its popular drive-thru locations around Rochester, as well as its downtown location at Peace Plaza. The local company serves a variety of espresso, coffee and tea.

While Moka coffee provides the drinks, Great Harvest Bread Company provides the food. Customers can order sandwiches served on fresh-baked bread. They can also buy treats that include cookies, scones and muffins. Your whole family will love the taste, and you just might want to buy a loaf of bread to enjoy later.

As a bonus, Moka coffee has a drive-thru window on the north side of the new branch, and you’ll find two of First Alliance’s Advisor Supported Kiosks on the south side. If you’re pressed for time, just drive up to the Moka window, get your coffee, then drive around the building to get your banking done before your kids have a chance to get impatient.
