A Big Update at Quarry Hill Nature Center + Fall Festival!

Expanded Hours at Quarry Hill Nature Center

Since the onset of the pandemic in March of last year, the Nature Center at Quarry Hill has operated with limited hours.  This necessary measure ensured safety for all and that Quarry Hill staff had the time it needed to pivot and get innovative on how to present its many programs, educational offerings, and more.

This week, Quarry Hill announced that they are expanding their hours and the Nature Center and Exploration Hall are now open weekdays! A recent email from Quarry Hill states:

“Don’t be shy. The antlers, shells, feathers, bones, and other objects are meant to be handled! The Quarry Hill Exploration Hall offers opportunities for looking, learning, and hands-on fun.  35 species of live animals, birds, and fish provide ever changing interactions.  Visit often, all ages are welcome!”
